DIE VERWANDLUNG

Afraid of insurrection, the restless unrealized mass
develops itself into—a TUMOR

                        (Rage, the body's rage, wrought against the body itself, for
                        it has no other means of actualizing)

Sickness has long been the only recourse against the
endless instrumentalization which sublates all organs

                        (What good is a tongue whose every word is captured and
                        coerced? What good a hand that is forced to touch?)

The body wants inviolability. A retreat from the
actuality that suffocates

                        (No breath more stifled than that regular breath which
                        has forgotten how to withhold itself)

If order cannot be overturned, it will be rejected, the
body retreating into the great undefined

                        (Life was never its own, was always a sickness
                        anticipating death, which opens onto other—
                        POSSIBILITIES
