DIE VERWANDLUNG

Words as soon as you speak them are never yours. Anyone who hears them will take them into themselves and shape them to fit their own bodies, which of course necessarily constitutes a deformation of any externality of your own. In attempting to capture you each expression becomes a weapon of this essential perversion (meaning will be created and destroyed entirely beyond your will and entirely according to cannibalistic ego). You will refuse to respond. Your silence also becomes a weapon, perhaps even more infinite in its potential omitted meanings, your very attempts to evade voyeuristic interpretation subjected only to a deeper voyeurism which seeks to peer into your very insides and distort them as well.

One seeks to become completely incomprehensible in order to prevent this. No longer silence, but pure idiolect which refuses interpretation. And the only response is a deep jealousy in which the listener seeks nothing other than to articulate themself through this incomprehensibility, wanting to grasp the freedom of this unknowability, which leaving itself undefined, resists limitation. But any articulation is necessarily the destruction of the subject as is, always inexpressible.

What is left but total retreat?
