doing something (28.02.2025)
One entire entry for the month of February. I haven't been here in a while. At least I've finally written something again.
I wrote that last night, as I've been attempting to write more lately. For at least an hour Thursday evenings, and I think I might try writing at least a little bit (15 minutes) every morning as well. However, I've only been trying that since this morning, so we will see if it lass. I thought that it went well.
I did the David Lynch memorial meditation and thought "hm, there's something nice about this actually". So I eventually decided to try meditating regularly, which I've been doing every night (or at least every weeknight) and now perhaps every morning. It's relaxing and I find myself able to write much more in my (physical) journal afterwards. I hate mindfulness and self-care culture. I don't know them. But meditation itself is quite lovely, I find.
Overall I think I have been calm and more focused lately. I'm tired and have shit to do tonight so I won't prolong this (and get around to updating some other site matters lately), but it's been good noticing myself able to sit down and read or do anything without wasting nearly as much time online lately. I've even been doing no-social media "monastic mondays", which frankly I intend to make even more monastic once figure out a way.
